- Conceptual Design Tools, focus on the initial stages of design: from facilitating understanding of content and identifying learners, to engaging with views and plans around design elements and their interconnections  (Course Map, Persona, Design Pattern, Design Narrative, Persona Card, Factors and Concerns, CompediumLD, ...)

- Authoring Tools, allow the production of detailed learning plans, which are ready to be used with learners (WebCollage, OpenGLM, CADMOS)

- Implementation Tools, support the implementation of learning plans, which have already been written, in groups of students using specific virtual learning environments (e.g. Moodle) and tools (e.g. Google apps) (with the help of the GLUE!PS tool)

My LdS  (My Learning Plans) : By selecting "My LdS" you will find all the learning plans you have created as well as those that have been shared with you by other members of the platform providing you with editing rights. All learning plans ( conceptualize, author and implement) are included here. More simply, here you can find all the learning plans that you can edit. 

Browse LdS  (Learning Design Search) :  Here you can find a detailed list of all available learning designs on the platform. You can discover and reuse learning designs created by other platform members.

LdShakers  (Platform Members) :  Opens a list of all platform members. It allows you to manage groups of contacts with whom you can share learning plans. By visiting a member's profile, you can see the learning plans they have created and shared with you. 

Private  Messaging :  By selecting the folder icon located in the central (top) bar, you have the ability to read and send private messages with other users of the platform.

Επιλέγοντας το "Author" μπορείτε να δημιουργήσετε μαθησιακά σχέδια τα οποία είναι έτοιμα προς χρήση. Υπάρχουν αρκετά εργαλεία που υποστηρίζουν αυτή τη διαδικασία όπως το WebCollage, το OpenGLM & το CADMOS. Κάθε μαθησιακό σχέδιο περιέχει ένα ή περισσότερα έγγραφα. Εξ ορισμού, τα μαθησιακά σχέδια που μόλις έχουν δημιουργηθεί περιέχουν δύο έγγραφα: το "Κυρίως Έγγραφο" (για κατ' ευθείαν επεξεργασία ή ανέβασμα αρχείου, που εξαρτάται από το εργαλείο συγγραφής που επιλέξαμε) και ένα "Υποστηρικτικό Έγγραφο" απλού κειμένου, στο οποίο μπορείς να προσθέσεις πληροφορίες για το συγκεκριμένο μαθησιακό σχέδιο (π.χ. κατευθύνσεις για τον καθηγητή, κριτήρια αξιολόγησης κλπ).

Τέλος η επιλογή "Implement" σου δίνει τη δυνατότητα: επιλέγοντας "Register your VLE" να καταχωρήσεις ένα νέο Εικονικό Περιβάλλον Μάθησης (Virtual Learning Environment - VLE), επιλέγοντας   "See your VLE" να δεις αν το περιβάλλον που καταχωρήσεις είναι διαθέσιμο προς χρήση  και τέλος επιλέγοντας "Select a design to implement in a VLE through GLUEPS" να υλοποιήσεις ένα μαθησιακό σχέδιο σε ένα από τα VLE που έχεις καταχωρήσει.
